February is Raynaud’s Awareness Month and, as a result, my February posts will be dedicated to the theme of this awareness. But I do hope you’ll all join me!
To start my monthly series, I have this gorgeous Ginger and Lavender Bath Soak Recipe that’s wonderful for circulation and for those that have Raynaud’s.
As the cooler weather arrives, there’s nothing I love more than a warm, fragrant bath. However, even if you don’t have Raynaud’s, I truly hope that this floral/spicy mix is something that truly nourishes you in the colder weather.
Made from a mix of spicy root ginger, Epsom salts and lavender, it’s all intertwined with a lavish oil of your choice to make your skin warm and silky soft.

This recipe is so simple to make that I have simply listed the ingredients below and it all just needs stirring together et voila!
I store my DIY bath soaks in glass jars and it’s so gorgeous to add extra sprigs of lavender and a ribbon for an easy-and deeply thoughtful handmade gift. For you and your loved ones!
Here are the ingredients you will need for this recipe. Of course, please do feel free to swap something listed below for what you have! You can especially play around with the oil and the essential oils. What magical mixture will you find? Be your own alchemist! (and let me know below what you dream up, please!)

When you’re ready to use your new bath soak, swirl some of the salt mixture into a hot bath. Then, allow yourself to immerse yourself in this serenity and aim to soak in the bath for about 20 to 30 minutes. Be sure to drink a full glass of water afterwards to restore hydration!
The base of Epsom salt is deeply detoxing for the body. It also contains magnesium, which is a supplement our bodies are often deficient of! Coupled with lavender and ginger, your muscles and skin will melt into true and utter bliss.
I do hope you enjoyed this post and the first in my Raynaud’s Awareness Month series for this year!
