How do you love to start your day? Maybe it’s a feel-good sweat with your daily exercise, making yourself a nourishing breakfast, or slipping into a warm bubble bath.
For me, it’s to delve into one of my favourite podcasts to inspire my day. I just love to listen and to learn as part of my morning ritual.
Today I’m sharing my favourite podcasts with you for seeking everyday whimsy, wonder and enchantment.
I truly hope you enjoy these favourites as much as me and that you can take these inspiring stories, lessons and thoughts into your heart, mind and soul.
Truth & Transformation
The first podcast I want to feature is ‘Truth & Transformation’ by my angel soul sister Kirsty Dee whose sisterhood is one of the most precious gifts my life has been blessed with.
More than anyone I know, Kirsty was born to have her own podcast show.
Kirsty’s ‘Truth & Transformation’ episodes will help you to embrace your power and celebrate your divine and sacred truth.
I am so incredibly proud of her for stepping so deeply into her own truth to bring this medicine into the world, and I hope you find each episode as awakening as I do.
In August Kirsty is helping you step deeper into your truth by bringing together working with the body, the mind, and the heart with WELLGUST. Guided through this, you’ll move into the new season feeling nourished, restored working with your sacred vessel as perfect as you are.
The Way Of The Priestess Podcast
I’ve spent these past two years discovering and appreciating the deeper meaning in the suffering that has completely transformed my life. One lady that has helped me through this is Dr Sarah Coxon, my incredible mentor I am so beyond blessed to have found.
I discovered Sarah’s authentic essence and gifts through a podcast Ella Grace Denton (you’ll be meeting Ella’s podcast in a moment!). As a result, it guided me to ‘The Way of The Priestess’ that is the medicine and magic I wish every soul on earth could listen to.
Each episode is full of such deeply illuminating, transformative magic so that you can step into your priestesshood and live your most nourishing existence.
One of my favourite elements is the historical look at women who have prospered throughout history.
It reminds me that throughout history when we speak with our authentic voice and heart, we can always dig deep into our own sacred soil and awaken our magic to live our purpose. Thank you, Sarah, for being the light that guides us towards these sacred paths and crowns.
The Spiritual Feminist
If you’re looking to explore the sacred power of sisterhood and cherish femininity on a deep and intrinsic level meet priestess Leneth Witte from the Netherlands.
Leneth, is the founder of the Spiritual Feminist. As a Spiritual Fem(inist), Leneth believes that by connecting to our innate spirituality it allows us to dig our roots deeper into our own sacred soil to reclaim our authentic essence.
The Spiritual Feminist is an online platform nurtured by Leneth that is a safe space for women who’d like to dive deeper into feminism, spirituality and womanhood but simply don’t know where to begin.
Leneth’s podcast The Spiritual Feminist is one of my absolute favourites and a wonderful way to explore Leneth’s wisdom whilst hearing from other powerful femmes all over the world.
So often as we grow and evolve no matter where we are from, or how old we are, we have been exposed to the pressure to shape ourselves into someone else’s vision of perfection.
However, instead what we should be doing is nourishing the unique goddess we are and honouring that always. ReWilding is all about that discovery of coming home to our most authentic essence.
For when we become ourselves dig into rewilding fully, with freedom and joyful release, that’s where we find the greatest source of our ethereal being.
If you ever need help unleashing everything you are, and diving into this sort of light and love, you will truly love Ella’s magic in her podcasts.
There’s such magic when Ella speaks and I’m held so deeply in her alchemy for a long time beyond each episode.
The Lavendaire Lifestyle
If you read my Lavendaire 2020 Artist Of Life Workbook Review you’ll know I’m a huge Lavendaire Lifestyle fan in all sorts of ways.
‘The Lavendaire Lifestyle’ is a podcast on personal growth and lifestyle design where Aileen shares weekly inspiration on how to create your dream life. From talks about astrology, wellness, healing and so much more.
Listening to this podcast is like being on the phone with one of your soul friends. Every conversation is so fascinating, potent and transformative, and a beautiful reminder of that feeling inside of peace and contentment.
Beyond The Self with Africa Brooke
I cannot begin to tell you all the ways I love Africa Brooke and how even just seeing her pop up on Instagram brings me with a moment of deep reflection and curiosity that allows me to dig deeper always into the most powerful version of myself.
Beyond the Self is an unfiltered podcast delving into the mess and glory that comes with the human experience.
As described by Africa: “all themes will be explored through the lens of indigenous wisdom, transformational psychology, energy work and neuroscience. You’ll be walking away from each episode with a new perspective, and a deeper understanding of your mind, your self, and your higher consciousness.”
I’m so thankful for the wisdom Africa gifts to the world. I hope you find her work equally transformative as you find and discover your most powerful self.
The Homecoming Podcast with Dr Thema
‘The Homecoming Podcast’ by Dr Thema is a podcast of finding self by wandering, searching, healing, and finally: coming home to yourself.
Dr. Thema Bryant-Davis is a licensed psychologist, ordained minister, and sacred artist who has worked nationally and globally to provide relief and empowerment to marginalised persons.
Not only that, but Dr Thema is also a professor at Pepperdine University, a past president of the Society for the Psychology of Women.
Dr Thema’s contributions to psychological research, policy, and practice have been honoured by national and regional psychological associations.
And Dr Thema’s podcast is truly the greatest gift to the world.
There are countless episodes that have enabled me to work with my shadow work, creating with intention, and healing through celebration and release. Most importantly: it enables me to come home to myself.
Deliciously Ella Podcast
Taking care of our well-being is basically like optimising your path. But sometimes the world of wellness can be beyond confusing and overwhelming.
Well, if you’re looking for a wonderful resource to provide opportunities to help you deepen your well of knowledge on all things wellness, healing, and health so that you can make the best choices for you, I highly recommend the wonderful Deliciously Ella.
Ella has been making plant-based cooking delicious, abundant and exciting since 2012 and she’s now made the leapt into podcasting.
In her episodes, Ella shares these same values but also discusses a plethora of wellness material from gut health to mental health and anxiety, to how to make sustainable changes, finding happiness, what happens to our brains when we exercise, skincare 101, dealing with stress, veganism and the environment and so much more.
Talking Tastebuds is a weekly interview series in which the wonderful most inspiring broadcaster and slow fashion activist Venetia La Manna chats to a special guest about their life with food, well-being and conscious living.
There’s something about this podcast that’s perfectly suited for a morning listening with Venetia’s opening question: ‘What did you have for breakfast?’
Venetia never ceases to find fascinating guests, conversations, stories and lessons from those wanting to make our world a better place.
Each episode will truly enchant you with the conversations and people you meet, and ultimately will make you start or end your days with a little more hope, faith and joy in your heart for this world we live in.
This feeling of optimism and idealism for a better more beautiful planet also stretches to Venetia herself who is such a wonderful role model for our times.
Unlocking Us by Brene Brown
From the Talking Tastebuds iconic opening to the treasure of Brene Brown’s sign off: ‘stay awkward, brave and kind’.
And that is why I so adore Brene Brown.
I’m sure many of you are no strangers to the wonderful work of Brene’s work who has spent over 20 years studying the emotions and experiences that bring meaning and purpose to our lives.
The hallmark to Brene’s work is that she states: “We are hardwired for connection, and connecting requires courage, vulnerability, and conversation.”
I’m sure I’m not alone in that when looking back at our lives, I see not only the futility of my efforts to get rid of the parts of myself that my environments rejected through this unworthiness, but the ways in which rejecting and abandoning aspects of myself have likely made me more vulnerable to external rejection and abandonment in the long run.
For this deep healing, Brene’s work is a balm to my soul. As she says in her bio this podcast will truly unlock the “messiness of what it means to be human”.
Take the key and open the door into vulnerability, because as Brene says: “We don’t have to do life alone. We were never meant to.”
Finishing with a beautiful new discovery that has been the most healing companion during this strange season we are all experiencing.
Belonging is a podcast that explores how to come home to yourself in the age of loneliness.
It is hosted and guided by Becca Piastrelli who will take you on a journey of courageous reconnection as she explores topics like ancestral wisdom, cultivating meaningful sisterhood, living with the seasons and cycles of the earth and your body, and what it means to be a good ancestor.
This stunning, gentle, restorative podcast will firmly cement a belief that there is magic etched upon the walls of all our hearts and resonating through all our souls. And most importantly, that it will continue to lead me to everything I love by belonging within my own self.
Thank you so much for reading about my favourite podcasts. I hope you’ve discovered some new treasures to add to your library.
