I’m so excited to present this little autumn lookbook from a recent visit to see my darling friend Paige Joanna where we explored the Hello Kitty pop up cafe at Tombo in London and then meandered through the pretty streets around Fitzrovia to play dress up in sweet fall and autumn outfits featuring Beauxoxo, my handmade hair accessories.
We filmed look one at the incredible Hello Kitty pop up at Tombo, a Japanese restaurant in London, and you can read all about here as it was such an overwhelming adorable experience that trust me, you are going to want to see all the photos!
We picked my red velvet bow for this look as we felt it was the bow Hello Kitty would want to wear herself! My velvet hair bows are one of my favourite creations I make at Beauxoxo as they are inspired by my love of the Victoriana trend.
For a second look at this spot, we styled my velvet turban headband in burgundy with an adorable dress Paige found in a flea market on her French travels this summer. It’s a gorgeous retro, feminine look that is so easy to take from day to night!
We’re taking it extra cosy now with a sweet knitted headband with the same dress as the previous outfit with the addition of a gorgeous peachy pink trench coat that blends like a dream into the baby pink backdrop. Blogger goals achieved?! I think so! Paige keeps me up to date on all these things I swear! Otherwise I always feel so uncool and out of the loop haha.
I don’t often venture into the Fitzrovia part of London but I became quite enchanted that day by the diversity of the grand 18th and 19th century apartments that nestle next to leafy parks and hidden streets lined with lively bistros, cafes shops and galleries. I hope our video, and of course the photos, give you a good flavour of the surroundings.
Our final look is this dreamy Chi Chi dress with my woodland beret in green. Because what says autumnal style without a beret, right? And there’s an actually rather humorous tale about this dress because it’s something that always happens to me and Paige. Because you see we basically have the same wardrobe. We have a style that is so similar that occasionally when we meet we are either wearing the same thing or cooing in delight that we already own the same item haha. The night before our photoshoot, Paige brings out this dress and I squeal with delight as I had previously tweeted about wanting it myself! So, yet again, our minds are totally in sync!
But I truly love this pretty crochet dress with my beret and around the pretty terraced streets of Fitzrovia it’s defnitely made me inspired to dress up my berets with more than just typical knitwear and coats.
And remember lovelies….
